Gourmet Pet Pantry Wrap-Up: Le Bubu Pets and The Modern Market Celebrate SM Aura's Pet Food Fair

The plates have been cleared, the DJ booth has gone quiet, and The Gourmet Pet Pantry has officially wrapped its three-day run at SM Aura. From September 18 to 20, the UG Main Atrium in Taguig turned into a celebration of good food, good company, and the growing community of Filipino pet parents who want both for their furbabies too.

Le Bubu Pets was proud to co-present this fair alongside The Modern Market, the team behind some of Manila's most-loved pop-up experiences. A Fair Made for Good Taste

True to its tagline, "a pet food fair made for good taste," The Gourmet Pet Pantry brought together ten pet-approved brands under one roof at SM Aura's UG Main Atrium: Barktastic Treats, Little Lion Treats, Vital Recipe, Zoomy, Litol Buddy, Tippy Tappy Club, Posh Pets, Haru Haru, Detail Pet Co., and Pet Club. For three days, from 10 AM to 10 PM with free entrance, pet parents browsed treats, toppers, and gourmet finds built around one shared idea — that what goes into our pets' bowls deserves the same thought and care we put into our own meals.

The fair wasn't just about the pets, either. Human-facing vendors rounded out the experience with something for the humans holding the leashes: 10:30 Coffee, Bake Batch, Jamie's Matcha, and The Klik Co. kept the food and drinks flowing, while live DJ sets kept the atrium's energy up across all three days. It was the kind of event where you could grab a matcha, browse a table of freeze-dried treats, and catch a favorite song, all without leaving the same stretch of mall floor.

What the Weekend Looked Like

Anyone who walked through the UG Main Atrium over the weekend knows The Gourmet Pet Pantry had a very particular energy to it — part food market, part community meetup, part excuse to bring your dog or cat along on a Saturday errand. Ten different brands meant ten different takes on what "gourmet" means for a pet: freeze-dried proteins from some, baked treats from others, toppers and mixers designed to turn an everyday bowl into something a picky eater actually gets excited about.

What stood out wasn't any single booth, though — it was the crowd. Pet parents compared notes on what their dogs liked, swapped tips on managing allergies or sensitive stomachs, and let their pets sniff their way from table to table while a live DJ kept the atrium moving. Between the human food vendors and the pet brands, there was rarely a lull across the full ten hours each day. It's the kind of atmosphere that's genuinely hard to manufacture — it only happens when the right mix of brands and the right crowd show up for the same reason.

Le Bubu Pets x The Modern Market: Presenting, Not Just Attending

The Gourmet Pet Pantry is presented by SM Aura and Modern Pets, The Modern Market's recurring pet-fair banner — the same one behind August's Podium Paw Social at SM Podium. This time around, Le Bubu Pets joined as a co-presenter of the fair alongside The Modern Market, lending our name and our community to help bring the event to life.

It's a role we don't take lightly.
